Niku shot the puck while on it's edge, beating Michalek with a high glove side shot to score his 11th of the season.
Pat Connone evened the contest at 5:22 of the second period when he slapped the puck past Comrie who didn't have control of the puck and the disc ended up in the net behind him.
The official lost sight of the puck but the play was reviewed but the goal was allowed to stand after replay clearly showed the puck had crossed the line before the whistle had been blown.
Ryan White gave Iowa the lead at 11:36 when he scooped up a rebound off a Carson Soucy shot from the point and slid a backhand into an open goal to make it 3-2.

Zack Mitchell gave the Wild a two-goal lead 3:28 into the third period when he skirted the Moose blue line before defenceman Victor Loov sprung him, hitting Mitchell with a breakaway pass.
Mitchell deked to the forehand before firing the disc past Comrie to make it 4-2.
Buddy Robinson pulled the Moose to within a goal 8 seconds into a power play, poking a puck past Michalek to make it 4-3 at 4:52.
